Shani Rosenbaum (she/her) grew up in Worcester, MA and Seattle, WA, and received her BA in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University in 2012. Following a year as a Dorot Fellow in Israel, she served at several Jerusalem-based non-profits, first at Encounter cultivating constructive engagement with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict; and then at OLAM, promoting Jewish involvement in global service and international development. While at OLAM, she produced and hosted the Global Torah podcastShani has studied at Midreshet Lindenbaum, Matan, Beit Midrash Har’el, and in the Pardes Kollel; and completed two years of intensive Halacha studies through Rabbi Daniel Landes’ Yashrut program. Shani teaches Talmud and Midrash through Hebrew College’s Open Circle, and recently completed a rabbinic internship at Temple Israel of Sharon, MA. A Wexner Graduate Fellow, she is currently pursuing rabbinic ordination at Hebrew College.
