Are you visiting Israel this summer? Make time to see the West Bank, too.

In July, T’ruah is hosting a tiyyul for rabbis, cantors, rabbinical and cantorial students (and their partners) visiting Israel to dive deep into human rights issues on the ground. We’ll be visiting the South Hebron Hills with two of our Israeli human rights organizational partners, Breaking the Silence and One Climate. The trip is planned around the Shalom Hartman Institute’s summer rabbinic programs — but is open to any Jewish clergy (or clergy-to-be) in Israel at the time.

Monday, July 4
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
South Hebron Hills Tiyyul with
Breaking the Silence and One Climate

We will be learning about these issues through the lenses of human rights, climate crisis, and Jewish text. In particular, we’ll get a firsthand look at the devastation caused by home demolitions.
