Danny Stein (he/him) is a rabbinical student at Hebrew College (Class of 2023). He grew up in the Chicagoland Reform movement, spending many summers at Camp OSRUI in Wisconsin. Graduating American University with a degree in public communication and marketing, he moved on to Hebrew University in Jerusalem, which together with Svara in Chicago ignited his passion for serious Torah and Talmud study. He is deeply committed to pluralistic Jewish communities that emphasize Torah, justice, and soulful prayer. Since joining Hebrew College, Danny completed a unit of Clinical Pastoral Education at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and served as the rabbinic intern at Northeastern University Hillel and Temple Beth Zion. He currently works as the Rabbinic Associate at Boston University Hillel for his final year of Hebrew College. Aside from all things Jewish, Danny is a professional magician, performing magic for corporate and private events nationwide. Danny and his partner Tamara have loved calling Boston home since 2018.
