Adam Gillman (he/him) is a rabbinical student at The Jewish Theology Seminary (class of 2023). A native of Seattle, he is passionate about creating intentional spaces in which spiritual practice, environmental and racial justice, and egalitarian leadership can play grounding roles in letting learners discover how they can contribute to their communities, especially among those who see themselves on the fringes of Klal Yisrael. Before beginning rabbinical school, Adam studied in Jerusalem at The Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies and worked with Israeli and Palestinian youth through the organization Kids 4 Peace as a Conflict Resolution Fellow.Adam has a BA in Liberal Arts from Western Washington University along with a minor in American Indian Studies. In his free time Adam enjoys the outdoors, cooking from new cookbooks, and playing basketball.
