As we approach the holidays with this year with yirah (awe and fear), we imagine that writing a sermon or teaching in our community may feel daunting or overwhelming.
Come join with T’ruah staff and other like-minded clergy to workshop ideas, outline sermons, and generally commiserate. We will gather for a workshop-style meeting. T’ruah will create follow up resources to make sure your High holiday experiences and messaging hit the “write” note. We’ll gather to talk about what types of questions we must ask of ourselves (and our congregations) to clarify which values will shape our upcoming year. By registering, you’ll also get a sprinkling of connection to some of our partners in Israel / Palestine that are dedicated human rights organizations.
Join us on Wednesday August 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. ET.
Come with any ideas, questions, or half-thoughts to work out with colleagues. We’ll dedicate some time to writing individually and processing together.
If you want to connect with us one-on-one to discuss sermons or text studies, don’t hesitate to reach out: jshaw@truah.org
