For many of us, Yom HaZikaron — Israel’s annual day of remembrance — will feel even more necessary, poignant, and challenging this year.

Join T’ruah and Rabbi Adina Allen of Jewish Studio Project to observe this day and the many emotions it may elicit through the power of art-making and writing. Together, we will explore the depth and contours of our grief through the creative process and begin to move from grief into action.

Materials: Please have a sheet of paper and any simple drawing materials you have around the house (markers, pens, pencils, watercolors, sharpies, crayons etc.)
