Join T’ruah’s Immigration Campaign, BIMA (Building Immigration Momentum and Action) for an interactive and thought-provoking exploration of the Passover stories and the stories we tell about immigration in the U.S. In the U.S., the narratives about why and how people move across borders are broken. Even progressive folks find ourselves falling into narrative traps set by more conservative, anti-immigrant factions. In an effort to repair and reclaim those narratives, we will explore the Passover stories and our own Jewish immigration stories and see if, together, we can imagine a new narrative about immigration – in the Jewish community and beyond. This is a webinar open to the public, not for only rabbis and cantors. If you are a rabbi and cantor, please indicate so below using the salutation field.
