What was the Jews Demand: ICE Out! National Day of Action?

On April 30, 2026, Jews around the country gathered to demand ICE OUT, anchored by a mass action in New York City. We took action as Jews in solidarity with the growing movement to reject ICE brutality and violence. We want ICE out of our schools and workplaces, out of our parks and streets, out of our places of worship, and out of communities everywhere. Grounded in our sacred teachings, we made the moral case that this system is both a failure of policy and of conscience, and that it does not have to be this way. Jews demand: ICE Out!

We’re building a Jewish movement for immigration justice.

On February 11, 2026, T’ruah and Bend the Arc hosted a powerful and impactful action at ICE Headquarters in DC (video here!), and were joined by two satellite actions in Minnesota led by Jewish Community Action (JCA) and Massachusetts led by Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA). Along with our 60+ cosponsors and over 600 attendees, we made the Jewish communal consensus clear: We completely reject the inhumane system of immigrant detention and deportation that is destroying our communities. Now, we’re bringing this message nationwide with Jews Demand: ICE Out!, a national day of action.
